Historical West Virginia Farmline Maps added to Seneca WebGIS

January 21, 2017

Yesterday we added a set of historical West Virginia farmline maps that covers the area between Harrison County and Wood County to the layers on WebGIS.  We believe These maps date from sometime before 1929.

Screen capture from beta iPhone / iPad client currently in development.

These maps are a small part of the data we obtained when we purchased Oil and Gas Information Service.  As we continue scanning and georeferencing this historical data, more updates will be forthcoming.  In addition we are also pursuing additional sources of historical data to increase our coverage of the Marcellus region.

If you are a WebGIS user and you do not see the new layer, please clear your browser cache, close your browser, and log in again.
