Seneca Server

Complete access to all Seneca Products including Well Location Shapefiles, Basemaps, and Parcel Data for the Enterprise

Unlimited access from authorized sites, through your own web server accessible through http://yourcompany.senecainfo.com, eliminates the need for individual users to log in to our services and provides flexibility for interactive data usage.  Seneca’s Server Products are available to your company as a single or multi-site license that is customized to fit your needs.

  • SenecaInfo – searchable database of WV well information. Search fields and information include API number, well number, operator, status, lat/long or easting/northing, county, district, quadrangle, farm name, target formation such as Marcellus, and more. Results are exportable to Microsoft excel and copies of the original plats, well records, and plugging affidavits can all be viewed, saved, or printed.

  • GIS Shapefile of West Virginia well locations from our SenecaInfo Database.

  • SenecaCourthouse – Searchable database of WV tax data. Search fields and information include parcel ID, book, page number, map number, district, county, property size, mineral, and more. Results are exportable to Microsoft excel and link to images of the property maps which can be viewed, saved, and printed. A server product gives you unlimited subscriptions to SenecaCourthouse for any number of employees at specified locations.

  • GIS County shape files for counties that are available, as received by state in 2008, with changes only to reflect current assessment data (meaning splits and joins of parcels are not reflected and errors in the state’s data may still exist).

Additional Tools

  • Pdf files of legacy well spot maps (7.5 minute quadrangles at 1:24000 scale) formerly known as OGIS Quad Maps and geo-referenced images of tax maps or district maps in specified areas which can be viewed, saved, or printed.

  • Hyperlinks within GIS files to images of plats, well records, etc. This allows for ease of access in your own mapping program instead of having to pull up images separately while working.

  • Hyperlinks within GIS files to create a chart of oil and gas production for wells as it has been reported to the DEP.

  • GIS shape file showing top hole, turning points, and bottom hole with connecting permitted lateral lines for all mapped horizontal wells as shown on permit plats.

  • Allowing adjustable access for sub-contractors as they are doing work for your company. Information is still owned by Seneca Technologies and sub-contractors have rights to access information for use only with your projects, not for other companies and must be aware of usage rights.

  • Well location and production information in Access database format in addition to the shapefiles of matching data.

  • Ideal for companies that have multiple locations by giving you simplicity of use, billing, and licensing. Land departments will have access to vital assessment data without having to travel to multiple courthouses around the state. GIS and mapping departments will be able to use the well location and property line shape files to create and work with well and property line maps. Employees can have access to view and print well plats and records as needed without having to drive to the DEP or order costly copies and wait for delivery. Having access to server data at any time will improve speed, productivity, and ensure accuracy of information within your company.
