Easy to Use
With SenecaInfo you can look up well information using any combination of API number, Quadrangle, District, Operator, Well Number, Farm Name, or Drill Date. Your results can also be as broad or narrow as needed such as all the wells in a quad that are operated by a certain company or all the wells that are currently producing in a given district. SenecaInfo gives you immediate access to the information you need.
Accurate, Up to Date Information
Seneca Technologies maintains information on each well's location, status, operator, and more. The information we receive is verified against our database to ensure accuracy. The database is updated weekly with newly permitted wells, cancellations, completions, plugging, and any other changes in status. All new locations are checked against topographical and property line maps. This way we can be sure we have the most accurate well information for the State of West Virginia.
Export to Excel or Mapping Software
When working with larger amounts of data you can export your search results to Microsoft Excel files and save to your computer to store and organize as needed. If you are using mapping software you can use our NAD 27 lat/long or easting/northing to import the well locations to your own program for mapping and viewing.
